About

How do homeless people live in Prague? Where and how do they live, what do they do and what do they dream about? Sometimes, all you need to do is turn off a main street, or walk into the bushes and you suddenly find yourself inside a hidden periphery. One such place was in Prague’s Třebešín neighborhood, whose inhabitants called it Fire Mountain.

The story of Fire Mountain was recorded by the artist Epos 257. It all started with his fascination with places on the geographic and mental fringes. Later, he became interested in who occupies these fringes, and how.

Fire Mountain subsequently became an extensive project opening the issue of homelessness in the public discussion. It gives us a look into this hidden world, but simultaneously aims to open a wider discussion on the search for solutions to this complex issue.
