A lecture on the creation of a so-called “new wilderness”, and about the close overlay of nature and civilization, from a biological-botanical perspective and with an overlap into the socio-cultural sphere.

A lecture on observation of the integrated nature of today’s global world and social exclusion and expulsion, which are not just a local problem, but a problem throughout the world.

A film-discussion series of the KINOLAB platform on homelessness and the art of surviving in the urban landscape.
Socially excluded localities are a common part of today's cities. Often these are areas that appear on the city map as non-places or are overlooked "no-man's lands". This new urban wilderness is often perceived negatively as a neglected and unattractive area, yet still finds its use. How are these places re-colonized and to whom does they belong? What role do homeless people have in them, living under the “law of the jungle”. What do they do and what are their dreams? Is homeless life a product of the vibrant ecosystem of rich Western society? Will it stand, or will it collapse? Is it a good idea to prepare for the collapse of the social system and the new hierarchy of society now? And to what extent are those who already have nothing prepared for it? Will they survive the city better than we will?
